STRENGTHEN NONPROFITS

In an age of uncertainty, and a time of dwindling public resources, THE REARDON GROUP trains nonprofit organizations and government programs to increase competitive differentiation because their achievements and performance are clearly mapped. Organizations that hire THE REARDON GROUP learn the art of mapping progress. They increase their revenues and increase their market share of government or philanthropic funding.

The Leadership Action Group to Improve Children’s Mental Health in Hennepin County, Minnesota created a countywide agenda for improving the mental health of children. By bringing together leaders from county social services, schools, nonprofit organizations, collaborative mental health services, parents and youth, this group energized systems to strengthen their services to promote mentally healthy children and youth. Using the accountability for results model, a data-driven model for measuring community indicators was developed. As each program to address mental health needs was initiated, a performance-based management program was developed to track program based measures of progress. This group is leading schools, county services and nonprofit the implementation of programs for a comprehensive system of services for children and families.

THE REARDON GROUP helps nonprofits:

  • Increase revenues
  • Increase operational efficiency

ENTREPRENEURIAL SOLUTIONS TO SOCIAL PROBLEMS

Many social issues go unresolved, fester and become a fiscal burden to their communities and ultimately to taxpayers. The social service community too often approaches problems of today in the same way we approached problems of yesterday. Yesterday’s problems deserve yesterday’s solutions. Today’s problems deserve entrepreneurial solutions.

THE REARDON GROUP helps organizations bring together the best and brightest individuals and ideas from a rich diversity of disciplines to examine a social problem and craft solutions that achieve outstanding results. Forging collaborative relationships in public/private partnerships provides the environment in which creative tension fosters concrete remedies. THE REARDON GROUP taps the resources of the academic world, the business community, the communities of faith, nonprofits, educators, health officials, corrections workers, youth, and other citizens to reflect and struggle for the best solution our society can offer to the problems that we face. The richness of the process often reaps rewards that were never imagined possible.

THE REARDON GROUP specializes in:

  • Mobilizing community resources to resolve chronic social problems
  • Negotiating resolutions between organizations that are no longer effectively working to achieve a positive result for their customers
  • Crafting joint work plans and collaborative working relationship decision making structures
  • Joint budgeting between agencies, and organizations
  • Crafting performance measurement systems
  • Building accountability for results
